Wendy Benedetti is the Founder and President of Power Factor Utility Consulting Services LLC, bringing more than twenty-two years of utility experience to this freelance platform. Wendy is a second-generation Reno Native who spent her early career at Sierra Pacific Power Company (now NV Energy) where she held several key accounting and analyst positions across the organization.  She was also selected for multiple high-profile special projects during her tenure because of her vast institutional knowledge.  In 2008, after nearly nineteen years of service, she left NV Energy to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an Entrepreneur.  An unexpected opportunity in 2020 prompted her to return to the utility industry and became the catalyst that inspired her to launch Power Factor UCS.  As President, she is responsible for running all aspects of the business.  In her role as Principal Consultant, she focuses primarily on wildfire mitigation data analysis and large accounting projects.
